On April 21st, Chicago opened its arms to the people who made Chicago children's television what it was when The Museum Of Broadcast Communications hosted "Puppets, Pies, & Prizes" celebrating the grand opening of their exhibit honoring the kid's shows of yesteryear.  Appearing for the festivities were Joey D'Auria (Bozo- "The Bozo Show" & "The Bozo Super Sunday Show"); Ray Rayner (Oliver O. Oliver- "Bozo's Circus," Sgt. Henry Pettibone- "The Dick Tracy Show," "Rocket To Adventure,"  & "Ray Rayner & His Friends"); Marshall Brodien (Whizzo- "Bozo's Circus" & "The Bozo Show" and "The Bozo Super Sunday Show"); Bill Jackson (Freckles- "Clown Alley," B.J.- "Cartoon Town," "The B.J. & Dirty Dragon Show," & "Gigglesnort Hotel"); Don Sandburg (producer, writer, and sometime director, Sandy- "Bozo's Circus"); Beverly Marston-Braun (Miss Beverly- "Romper Room"); John Conrad ("Elmer The Elephant Show"); Jack Mulqueen ("Mulqueen's Kiddie A-Go-Go"); Roy Leonard ("Family Classics"); and Mary Hartline ("Super Circus")
